MUSIC

At SFCS, our Christian elementary school students immerse themselves in music through singing, exploring, moving, and listening in their general music education classes. Students 3rd-5th grade learn to play the recorder. 5th grade students can join beginning band.

Our Christian middle school students are instructed in voice performance, music theory, and music history in their general music education classes. Students can also choose from band and string ensemble.

As one of the best private high schools in San Francisco, we give our Christian high school students a variety of music education courses. High school students choose from band, string ensemble, choir, and music theory. Any one of these will meet the fine arts graduation requirement. 

Students will display their progress in their music instruction during our school programs, fine arts festivals, and even at local nursing homes.
