Help your child find their voice, develop discipline, and share their gifts. Music grows with students from elementary through high school and is included in tuition.
Room to find their voice
Your child can discover the joy of making music and learn to use their gifts in worship and service. Singing, practicing, and playing with others develop creativity and discipline. Music is included in tuition, with no participation fees.
- Elementary: a place to begin. Singing, movement, and listening introduce music, and students start reading notes in the early grades with instruments like handbells. Students in 3rd–5th grade learn the recorder and build on that foundation; by 5th grade they may join beginning band for their first ensemble experience. Elementary students can also join the after-school String Ensemble.
- Middle school: growing skills. General music classes include voice performance, music theory, and music history, with the option to join band or string ensemble.
- High school: developing their gifts. Band, string ensemble, choir, and music theory courses refine students’ skills and fulfill fine arts graduation requirements.
Gifts to share
Your child’s learning has a place beyond practice. Students share their music through school programs and concerts, where they serve others and glorify God through music.
