How Does My Giving Make a Difference at SFCS?

At San Francisco Christian School, our mission is to embrace the Gospel, engage a Biblical worldview, and enact a Christ-centered life in every aspect of our students’ education. While tuition provides for essential daily operations, it does not cover the full cost of delivering a high-quality, Christ-centered education. Your generous support helps fill the gap, ensuring we can continue to invest in our students, faculty, and facilities while keeping Christian education accessible for more families.

Your gifts to the SFCS Annual Fund and special giving campaigns make a lasting impact by:

  • Providing tuition assistance so more families can experience the transformative power of a Biblical education.
  • Funding campus improvement projects to create a safe, inspiring, and modern learning environment for our students.
  • Supporting capital campaigns that allow us to expand our facilities and reach more students in the city with the Gospel.

Recurring Donations
To set up a recurring donation, visit the Annual Fund giving page where you can customize your contribution by selecting the amount, frequency (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual), number of payments, and desired start date.
Making your gift by donating cryptocurrency to the school can result in significant tax savings:
  • You can avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciated value of the cryptocurrency if held longer than one year.
  • You can receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the crypto at the time of the donation.

Please inform Orlando Duarte, Head of School, of the type of cryptocurrency and amount being donated for acknowledgment and tracking purposes.

Many employers offer matching gift programs, allowing you to double or even triple the impact of your donation! Some companies will even match gifts made by retirees and spouses.

To find out if your company participates in a matching gift program, we encourage you to start by checking with your Human Resources department. If your company does offer matching gifts, they can provide instructions on how to initiate the process.

Gifts of Stock
Making your gift by donating stock to the school can result in significant tax savings:
  • You can avoid paying capital gains on the appreciated value of the stock if held longer than one year.
  • You can receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock when the gift is made.

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a simple and tax-efficient way to support San Francisco Christian School while maximizing charitable impact. Through a DAF, you can contribute assets (cash, stocks, or other securities), receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to SFCS over time.

SFCS can receive grants from Donor-Advised Funds held at:
