CURRICULUM

CHRISTIAN CURRICULUM

At San Francisco Christian School, we place an emphasis on Christian education that works for every student. We recognize that not every school is the same and not every student processes information the same way. This is why we have not settled on one form of textbook publisher when developing our curriculum, but instead have pulled from various publishing sources. Our primary source for classroom instruction is BJU Press (www.bjupress.com). BJU Press texts are well known for their academic rigor, biblical integration, and ability to engage students in mind-developing critical thinking. Other publishers used include Abeka Book (www.abeka.com) and Saxon Math. Our established curriculum has allowed us to be ranked as one of the best private high schools in San Francisco.

From kindergarten to high school, SF Christian School covers all ages!

As one of the top private Christian schools in the San Francisco, CA area, San Francisco Christian School boasts a strong curriculum starting with building a solid foundation with basic skills to preparing students for college or careers. During their time at our Christian elementary school, middle school, high school, students will be taught in a safe and caring environment. For students where English is not their first language, we also offer a comprehensive English immersion program to help accelerate the learning of the English language. Our teachers strive to keep learning fun and engaging as well as help develop our student's talents and passions. Our schools are not funded by the state, meaning we are not restricted in what we teach within our Christian education.
