ART

Our Christian elementary school and middle school students begin with learning foundational art vocabulary and drawing skills. Art is integrated in other core subjects to reinforce key artistic skills.   

As one of the best private high schools in San Francisco, we offer multiple art classes for our students. Our Christian high school students can choose from an array of art classes. These include the following:     

Introduction to Art

An introduction to the basic elements and principles of art, as well as a comprehensive survey of art history.   

Intermediate Art

Intermediate instruction in advancing art concepts and principles.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Art 

Photography

A study of digital photography and post-production using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. A progression from capturing simple objects to people and situations, and the exploration of storytelling. 

Yearbook

A study of graphic design and journalism culminating in the production of the school yearbook. Utilization of Adobe software such as Photoshop and Indesign.
