Mike Allen

Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church

I moved to San Francisco at the age of 10 when my dad was called to be the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. I grew up at Calvary and graduated from San Francisco Christian in 1987. I attended Bible college where I met my wife Stacey. We were married and God has given us four kids.

After serving as an assistant pastor and pastor in Michigan over the course of nearly 14 years, God moved our family to join the staff of Calvary in 2004. Through a course of God-ordained events, God led my dad to resign as senior pastor and the church called me to be the pastor.

My wife and I are excited to minister in San Francisco. We count it a privilege to be a part of such a diverse community of believers who truly desire to see God work in and through them.

I have a passion to preach the Word of God expositionally and a desire to see believers grow in their walk with the Lord as they grow in grace. I desire to see people with no knowledge of God’s gift of salvation, put their faith and trust in Him.

I have a love for reading and enjoy riding my road bike. I enjoy experiencing life with my wife especially when coffee is involved. We look forward to many years of ministering and living in San Francisco.
